This inspirational film follows American GIs, newly disabled from severe injuries sustained in Iraq, as they take a challenging 226-mile trip down the Colorado river, navigating the whitewater on motor-powered rafts and inflatable kayaks.

During the trip, each veteran is encouraged to use the experience to help them come to terms with their injuries and to look ahead to a new life in a society that now views them differently.
