The Competiton
ITV are offering Westcountry
gardeners the opportunity of a lifetime: to design and
build a new garden at the world famous Eden Project in
a new competitive gardening series for the ITV West and
West Country regions. But before the two finalists get
to the iconic biomes of Eden, they’ll have to win
through two tough rounds – the first by entering
their own garden or gardening project, and the second
on a new development where side by side the contestants
will plan and build new gardens to brief (and with a planting
budget!). Presented by Melinda Messenger, the series will
also feature Eden’s Tim Smit and TV newcomer Scott
Evans from Big Grass Nursery in Devon.
We’ll be starting filming in
Spring 08, but before we get there, we need to find all
our contestants. So please apply as soon as possible!
